Over the years I've used many body butters. I like to apply them immediately after my shower while my skin is still damp. I know that they will be thick and maybe a little more oily/greasy than lotions. My skin is very dry, so body butters do help.First off I felt that the container needed more secure seals. The color wasn't appealing to me. It was a muddy mix of blues and greens but not in the pleasant teal tones. It was more in a blue/green/gray tone. The fragrance was strong and not something that I normally would like. It reminds me of some of the overwhelming scents found in some shops at the mall.The body butter went on smoothly with a thick, creamy texture. It did have a bit more oily effect than what I'm use to with other body butters. Because I don't find the fragrance appealing I cannot imagine spreading this over large portions of my body and dealing with the scent. Because of the fragrance and the oily effect I don't find it a better quality than those that are less expensive.It is effective in providing immediate moisture and lessening the signs of dryness. The cost of that is a strong scent and oily residue.Overall, I don't find it to be a good value compared to other premium body butters that I have tried. I think the theme is more of a gimmick that a pre-teen may enjoy better.
