I use this on my motorcycle after every few rides. It moistens up the bugs and dirt and easily wipes off and buffs to a shine with a cloth. It also removes brake dust and tar on my rims, though sometimes bigger splats of tar need a second spot-spray and a firm rub.My guess is it is probably not a good substitute for very infrequent cleanings or very dirty bikes/cars that need a good hosing down. However, if you're the type who likes to keep your ride sparkling but don't want to always have to break out the hose and all the washing/waxing stuff this works very well.
